Guest scores and detailed hotel feedback
I couldn't have asked for a better location than this hotel, perfect for exploring Georgetown and the surrounding area. While the ambiance felt a bit dated, it added a unique charm that I found quite endearing. The neighborhood is top-notch, and the connectivity with another room was a convenient surprise.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The room I initially had was just perfect for the weather, clean, and nicely appointed, but the second room was much smaller and came at a higher rate. Unfortunately, noise from a utility chimney made it hard to rest at times. The service, led by David the General Manager, was absolutely fantastic, with friendly and helpful staff, though the older rooms were still comfortable. The location, surrounded by embassies in Embassy Row near DuPont Circle, had its charm but was disrupted by renovation noise. The dining experience was average, with wholesome but basic options at a cost. The facilities were decent overall.
My stay at the hotel was delightful. The rooms were clean and spacious, equipped with a refrigerator and coffee making facilities, although the size was smaller than I expected. The service was fantastic, even though there were limitations due to a strike during my visit. The location was excellent, close to restaurants and the metro. The dining experience was the only letdown, with disappointing service and food quality at breakfast.
The hotel is in a very pleasant neighborhood, fairly close to restaurants and bars, offering great convenience for transportation and access to cafes and museums. The rooms, although not large, are very beautiful and well-appointed, but could benefit from some restoration. The service provided by the hotel staff is super friendly and attentive, ensuring a delightful stay. The dining options, while affordable, could be more appealing and varied, with limited gluten-free choices. Overall, the location is superb for exploring nearby attractions and enjoying the local amenities.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of highs and lows. The location was fantastic, surrounded by beautiful mansions and Embassies on Massachusetts Ave, and just a short walk to the White House. The service was top-notch with friendly staff and lovely little details like afternoon cookies. On the downside, the room had noise from a nearby utility chimney that made it hard to sleep, and the dining options were a bit limited.
The hotel is in a convenient location near Dupont Circle, with shops and eateries nearby. The rooms are clean and good size, but some are seriously outdated. Service was friendly and helpful overall, but there were issues during my stay. The dining options were fair and fairly priced. The facilities offered are satisfactory, but could use some improvements.
My stay at the hotel was truly delightful. The rooms were spacious and nicely furnished, creating a beautiful ambiance with a historic touch that I found charming. The service was brilliant, with helpful and friendly staff making my experience very enjoyable. The location was perfect, being centrally located yet peaceful, allowing for easy access to attractions like museums and restaurants. The dining options, while basic, were acceptable, and the organic fruits were a nice touch. Overall, a great value for a wonderful stay.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The room was spacious and very comfortable, with a lovely armchair and footstool, but was unfortunately affected by constant noise from a nearby building utility chimney behind a door. The service was top-notch from the friendly bellmen to the restaurant manager, but there were moments of staff tension in front of guests. The location was ideal, close to a Metro station and various dining options, including famous spots like Krispy Kreme. However, the dining experience was basic, possibly due to ongoing construction. The facilities were decent but required some maintenance.
The hotel has a nostalgic old feel to it, which can be charming, but some areas like the bathroom need updating. The service is top-notch with very attentive and kind staff. The location is ideal, close to the Metro and surrounded by cafes and restaurants. Dining options are limited, especially for those with dietary restrictions.
The hotel is located next to Dupont Circle in a nice, quiet area close to restaurants and bars. The rooms are spacious and comfortable though slightly outdated in decor. The service is top-notch with friendly and helpful staff. Dining options are limited with service ending early, but the location is very convenient for exploring the neighborhood.
